Got questions?

Investing in your image building is an exciting step, often one that comes with questions.

Here’s some FAQ’s for you!

If your answer isn’t here, get in touch and I can give your all the information you need to step into your photoshoot with confidence of what’s to come.

Before your Photoshoot

  • You want to feel like yourself, so wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable.

I’ll send you a simple photoshoot prep guide with tips on what works best on camera.

  • We choose a location that fits your brand — be it a studio, your workspace, outdoors, café, rooftop… anything goes.

I have a range of locations suggestions across Melbourne to help you choose somewhere that fits your style perfectly.

  • Absolutely. Some clients DIY, others book a professional — both are great. If you want a recommendation, I’ve got a few go-to HMUAs who are amazing and lovely humans.

This service is an optional add on.

  • Generally photoshoots get booked about 1-2 months ahead of time. However I often get a few shorter lead times for bookings which I always try to accomodate.

The main thing is that we have clarity about what you want from your photoshoot so that we can get that exact outcome for you.

  • If there’s an image style or mood you’re drawn to, I’d love to see it.

You’re welcome to share inspiration images before your shoot—this helps me understand your vision.

While I won’t directly copy someone else’s work, we’ll take the vibe and make it your own.

Think of it as reimagining, not replicating. That way, your brand photos still feel authentic and original, with a style that truly fits you.

About your Photoshoot

  • Firstly, this is a very normal feeling. Many of my clients have this concern — then they end up loving their photoshoot.

I recognise that being photographed can feel vulnerable. My job is to invite you into your photoshoot just as you are, without judgement or expectations. From here it usually flows really beautifully.

I will gently guide you through the whole thing, so you’ll never feel unsure about what to do.

There’s no cheesy poses, no pressure to be a model, just you looking and feeling your best.

  • Yes to all of the above! I’ll direct you gently the whole way — think “friendly hype woman meets expert photographer.”

I will keep an eye on all the elements of the image, you can just chat with me as we go. It’s like a photo-conversation really.

We’ll get those natural, relaxed shots you’re after.

  • Yes, please!

Bring anything that helps tell your story — laptops, tools of your trade, your fave coffee cup, or even your dog (seriously).

If you’re unsure of which props might work, have a think about the experience you provide to your clientele and what props hell visually tell this story.

We are looking for props that strengthen your brand message in a visual way, so think outside the box as see what comes to mind.

I’ll help you incorporate your props in a way that feels natural.

  • Most shoots run between 1–3 hours. Long enough to capture variety, short enough to stay energised.

If we need more time, we’ll plan for that up front.

Pricing and inclusions

  • Every package includes a planning meeting, a photo brief, the photoshoot, a proof gallery, edited high-res images, and a licensing agreement.

Packages are set out to include the number of images you need, the time allocated for photography and the number of people or products to be photographed.

Some packages include extras like hair & make-up, stop motion animation clips or BTS video footage for social media.

I have a range of service options to get us started, you can choose from one of them or I’ll provide you with a custom quote if needed — let’s find the right fit for you.

  • My editing style is clean, natural and true-to-life. I focus on enhancing what’s already there—things like lighting, colour balance and overall polish—without making you look like someone else.

I’ll remove temporary blemishes or distractions (think flyaway hairs or background clutter), but the aim is always to keep you looking like the best version of you.

If you need something specific adjusted, just let me know—this is a collaborative process.

  • You’ll get a proof gallery within 7–10 business days after the shoot, so you can choose your favourites.

Final edited images are delivered within 2 weeks after that.

If you have a deadline coming up, we’ll chat about that before the shoot — and I’ll work to make sure you get everything on time.

  • It depends on your photography service package.

    My package options are typically:

    • Profile Session: 5 images

    • Branding Photo Day: 15 images

    • Personal Branding Session: 30 images

    • Work Teams: 50 Images

    • Headshots Only: 2 images per person

    • Product Photography: 10 images minimum

    • Events: All images

There is always an option to purchase extra images should you want them, minus pushy sales. You will be provided options to buy individual extras or a bundle price for all the extra images.

  • I can absolutely tailor something to suit your needs.

Whether you’re after extra shoot time, multiple locations, or something tailored for a team, we can create a custom package that fits exactly what you need.

  • Yep, I offer flexible payment options to make things easier — just ask and we’ll work something out.

The default setting is 50% payment to secure your photoshoot booking. The final amount due prior to your photoshoot date.
